Our first Community Dinner of the season is in the books, and what a wonderful evening it was!
Formerly known as Wednesday Night Dinner, Community Dinner has a new name and a renewed purpose: creating a meaningful weekly gathering centered around food, friendship, community, and faith.
We’ve added a few simple touches to help us live more fully into that vision. Everyone is invited to wear a name tag so strangers can become friends. Charging stations are available for anyone who needs to power up a phone or device. Prayer cards are placed on each table, and during dinner we take time to share our Highs & Lows—the joys and challenges of our week. We also conclude our time together by sharing a story about Jesus and reflecting on what it means for our lives.
The first Community Dinner of each month is a potluck, and our opening night did not disappoint! Even with a thunderstorm rumbling outside, inside we enjoyed a delicious assortment of food and, even better, the opportunity to sit around the table together.
There’s always room for one more at the table! Bring a friend and join us every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for Community Dinner, a place to eat, connect, share life, and grow in faith together.
