A HUGE thank you to our amazing Leadership Board and to everyone who helped make our final Wednesday Night Dinner of the season such a joyful success!

From hamburgers and hot dogs to corn casserole and banana pudding, so many people pitched in to create a delicious meal filled with hospitality, laughter, and love. Nearly 60 people joined us for the evening, and what a blessing it was to see our Fellowship Hall so full of life and connection!

In fact, we even ran out of food and had to put up extra tables — but that is the kind of “problem” we are thankful to have!

One of the highlights of the evening was the wonderful conversation shared around the tables. During the time of devotion, people were invited to answer fun and meaningful questions together, including:

  • What is one favorite memory from Wednesday Night Dinners this year?

  • What food reminds you most of summer?

  • What is something bringing you hope right now?

  • If Jesus came to your cookout, what would you serve Him?

  • What is one way you hope to CONNECT, GROW, or SERVE this summer?

And yes…at our table, we had a very lively and heartfelt debate about what Jesus would want on His pizza! It may not have settled the pineapple question once and for all, but it certainly gave us plenty of laughter and connection around the table.

We ended the evening in a beautiful and meaningful way — gathering together in a circle, joining hands, and singing “Bind Us Together.” It was a simple but powerful reminder that through shared meals, laughter, conversation, and worship, God continues to bind us together in love and community.

Thank you to every person who cooked, served, donated food, greeted others, set up tables and chairs, and especially to our wonderful clean-up crew who stayed afterward to help everything get put away. These dinners simply would not happen without your generosity, teamwork, and servant hearts.

Thank you for helping create a place where people feel welcomed, connected, and loved.

Wednesday Night Dinners will resume in September. We can’t wait to gather around the table together again soon!
